If it had Manuél I would have already bought it! I would offer him more than he paid for it.
When he was looking there was a Manuél car for sale! But it was beige-silver something. Bleh...

Mind is warped...
Speaking of which. I am staring at a MASSIVE insurance bill due Sept 9. My house insurance premiums are so large that I pay them quarterly just to be able to afford them.
I'm seriously considering emailing my broker and asking her how much the premiums will go down if I delete flood and earthquake insurance. This would be dumb since I'm A) in So Cal and B) right next to a slope that could flood.
But if I did it the premiums would go down a lot and I could put that money towards cars. But if there is an earthquake or the slope comes down all cars ruined and the car insurance people would probably tell me to go to hell.
What should I do?

Move.
Buy land in SoCal that isn't in danger of flooding.
Build small house will large garage space.

LOL that's not an option. I can't sell this house. Ever. Put way too much work into making it happen. And it has 4 garage spots PLUS land to build more.
What do you think I should do now? Keep extra insurance or delete and go YOLO style?
Brian Silvestro
> Manuél Ferrari
09/01/2014 at 20:27 | 1 |
Shit.
Don't go YOLO, if something happens you'll have to sell cars and/or lose all hopes of owning Ferrari.
Uhhhh....
Rent out space in Mansion?

Everyone tells me to do that. I could rent out rooms. But I'm old and hate having roommates. I had them until 30. That was enough!

I'm seriously leaning towards YOLO. Which should surprise nobody..

30?! Jesus CA must be expensive. I basically have my own room right now because my roommate lives with his girlfriend. It's pretty awesome.
But the things I'd do for Ferrari...

Call me crazy, but of any semi-modern Ferrari, the 612 with a manual would be the one I choose. Big V12 GT Ferrari, how can you hate?

I just got an email back from another party. I asked to have my monthly loan repayment on something reduced by 50%. I told him I knew it was going to create more interest but that I needed this done to help with "cash flow".
What I didn't say is that the $500 month reduction I'm asking for is like $65K worth of car over 144 months...

I didn't have to have a roommate for that long. I just had one cause I was working so much that I didn't really need my own place. I used to work 70 hour weeks. It was crazy.
Then at one point I got doge and it helped to keep the roommate cause I'd get home from work late so much and didn't have a yard at the time. Somebody had to walk him!

LOL. It should be exciting. You could get a 4C right now for $500/month if somebody gives you a 144 month loan!
Brian Silvestro
> Manuél Ferrari
09/01/2014 at 20:42 | 1 |
Maybe you should get a roommate and start working 70 hour weeks again. That should solve some issues.

HAHA. That would make MOAR CARS happen faster.
But it would make dating interesting.
Girls: "why do you have 2 roommates at 35?"
Me: "Because that brings me $1500/month in revenue. That is like $200K worth of car over 144 months!"
Girls: "That's stupid. Why do you like cars so much?"
Me: "I really have no idea. I think I was dropped on my head when I was a baby"

YOU'RE NOT EVEN JOKING. Do you realize how much it costs my old man to fill up the F car gas tanks? If the tanks are empty and the station has a $100 credit card max then you can't even fill the tank up...

Those gigantic fuel tanks don't help.

I can't be the only person who thinks the 612 looks boring and bloated, and has too-small wheels. It's just...meh. Probably my least favorite modern big front-engined v12 Ferrari.

It was in the 90s. I looked up how much the last Porsche GT1 went for. It was $1.5M. I say NP. I would buy that if I could.

Imagine if we each had exactly 2.5M cash. We'd still be going insane. We'd be trying to decide between a Zonda and a lot of things, a Zonda and F40 and like 2 other cars, or 40 cars...
